To show out. With confidence.
Shakara is Lagos slang for swagger: flair, presence, the way you carry yourself when you know you look good. Shakara Drip is a graphic-tee label built on that feeling.
Printed in Lagos. Worn everywhere.
Every Shakara Drip tee starts in a small studio in Yaba: a sketch, a screen, and 240gsm ring-spun cotton that holds a print for years, not weeks. We do not chase trends. We make a few pieces properly, number them, and retire the print when the run is gone. That is what makes a tee worth showing out in.
Three steps. No shortcuts.
Design
Every print starts as a sketch on the studio wall in Yaba. If it doesn't stop you, it doesn't get made.
Hand-pulled screen print, one colour at a time, on 240gsm ring-spun cotton. No two pulls sit exactly alike.
Number
Drop pieces are numbered by hand, 1 to 200. When the run is gone, the print retires.
Cut a size up. Hangs, never clings.
Boxy body, dropped shoulder, ribbed collar that keeps its shape. Take your usual size for the intended oversized fit, or size down for a regular fit. Garment dyed and pre-shrunk, so what you buy is what you keep.
Don't follow trends.
Build presence.
